Afaaq Research for Urban Studies is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and critical discussions in the fields of urban planning, design, and sustainable development. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to explore innovative approaches that shape the future of cities, particularly within the context of the MENA Region.
The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, and case studies addressing urban sustainability, smart cities, livability, public spaces, housing, transportation, resilience, and environmental planning. Special attention is given to research that bridges the gap between theory and practice, offering insights applicable to real-world urban challenges in rapidly developing regions.
